Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the ellipticZero DNS service. By creating an account or using the service in any way, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. The Service
ellipticZero DNS is a managed DNS service that lets you create and manage DNS records for domain names, including automatic updates when your IP address changes. The service is operated by Elliptic Consulting LLC.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and API tokens secure. Do not share your password or API tokens with others. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
3. Acceptable Use
You may use ellipticZero DNS only for lawful purposes. You must not use the service to:
- Point DNS records at infrastructure used for phishing, malware distribution, spam, or any other illegal activity
- Attempt to disrupt or degrade the service for other users
- Automate account creation or use the service in a way that places unreasonable load on our systems
- Circumvent any rate limits or usage quotas
We reserve the right to remove records, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
4. Usage Limits
To ensure a reliable service for all users, the following default limits apply:

5. Service Availability
We aim to keep ellipticZero DNS available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances outside our control.
DNS propagation times depend on TTL values and third-party resolvers. We are not responsible for delays caused by external resolvers caching stale records.
6. Your Data
We store the information needed to operate the service: your email address, DNS records, and account activity logs. We do not sell your data to third parties.
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings.
7. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Use.
Upon termination, your DNS records will stop resolving and your data will be deleted.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elliptic Consulting LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or service interruptions.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
